Challenge:
The product was large in size and had a crushed-stone texture on the surface. This made mold processing and molding control more difficult. During injection molding, uneven filling, cooling shrinkage, or poor support design could easily cause warpage, deformation, texture distortion, or poor assembly accuracy.
Solution:
We optimized the mold structure and added proper support in key areas to improve product stability during molding and cooling. Mold-flow analysis was used to check filling balance, shrinkage, and warpage risk before finalizing the design. For the crushed-stone texture, high-precision CNC/EDM processing was used to keep the texture clear and consistent across the large surface. We also optimized the cooling system, gate location, holding pressure, and mold temperature to reduce internal stress and control deformation. During trial molding, the product dimensions and flatness were carefully checked and adjusted to ensure a stable shape and good surface texture.
